In 1969, Joan Ganz Cooney and Lloyd Morrisett created the show Sesame Street, a TV program that would forever change children’s television viewing experience.It is the first-ever show to be created by producers with children’s education as its content, which broke new ground for other similar themed shows.Producers are able to make informing and educating young preschoolers likeable and entertaining by using the Muppets, created by Jim Henson, as well as cultural references and animation.
